What a run I've been having, lots of awesome stuff. Could've made my way to Brockton today but decided not to, I'll go there Sunday afternoon.
Harrison Ave:
The Cranberries Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? CD:
A Donegal China dish:
A 1-liter Heineken:
3 Glasses from the 1977 Mcdonaldland set, I almost have it complete:
Some more glasses:
A Sega Saturn with Virtua Cop in it:
This one is going to be an ebay auction, LEGO's are as good as gold, now I just have to tediously count this 435-piece set:
Quincy:
2 more awesome Genesis games; Streets of Rage and Greatest Heavyweights:

Oh wow, ALF!
Nothing really worth mentioning in Quincy today, except for the fact that I bought a big package of black construction paper. I've got a few projects up my sleeve during vacation so it will come in handy.
In Davis Square:
Two Dreamcast games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and Soul Calibur (!):
I don't know what it is about old yearbooks, maybe its the photography, maybe its the fact that a lot of the people are dead, I dunno they just interest me.
Here we have the 1928 Croceus of the University of Rochester Women's College. There is an ancient four-leaf clover wedged in between the pages:
A couple of other books, Homer's Odyssey and another Ballantine WWII book; Leyte Gulf:
Two Playboy cocktail glasses and a couple of nice pints:
In Central Square:
Some more nice glasses:
A Playstation 30-Game holder:
Awesome Find-of-the-Day:
Its very rare that I find a Super NES, its even rarer that I find the system ( or any for that matter) fully complete:

How are you, my freind?
Picked up a bunch of cool things today in quincy.
Not pictured:
A German porcelain piece from Oberammergau. It was just too small and awkwardly shaped to get a good pic.
----
Seriously check out this awesome child's dinner plate, I swear I'll eat every meal off it:
Some actually decent Genesis games, World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, Sword of Vermilion, and Rampart:
A couple of books; The Golden Compass, so I can read the book before I see the movie this summer and Gangland because anything mob related is awesome:
A Gameboy carrying case for the many I have:
A vintage local soccer jersey:
Finally broke down and got a Polaroid camera today because we had so much fun in work with one over the weekend, and it was 50% off electronics today:
Last but not least, this jewelry-type box with a Hokusai woodcut drawing, the same picture I have in my room. This is from Meiji Gakuin University in Japan:

She's a slave driver
The only thing I picked up in Quincy today was a better looking copy of Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential. I plan on giving my old copy to a co-worker.
I then went to Harrison Ave. a day early. Saw this awesome GE record player, but the needle was missing and the arm wasn't working. A very rare day that I don't pick anything up from there.
I then headed to the Brockton Amvets and got a NES Advantage controller (sweet!) :
And a few glasses:
I also picked up a 1-liter beer glass for a co-worker so he can continue his downward spiral into alcoholism.

I'd need to be a gymnast to get into those positions
Got to search the the laundry cart filled with soft cover books today in Quincy, which is a rarity. Came across a pretty good haul too.
In the early 70s Ballantine put out an AMAZING WWII illustrated collection. I came across 4 of them today. 3 war leaders books; Churchill, Stauffenberg, and Student, and 1 Weapons book; the B29. I also got a neat book on Corpses, one on Japanese Gothic Tales, 2 early Matt Groening comics; Life in Hell and Work is Hell. And one of my favorite books growing up; Death Be Not Proud:
Didn't do too bad at Harrison today either.
Got Voivod's Killling Technology record:
Two NES games; WWF Wrestle Mania Steel Cage Challenge and Roundball 2-on-2 Challenge:
A few glasses:
Another example of a stein not taken care of. Unlike last time this one at least has the paint fully in tact. The obvious problem is the lid is missing, and what you can't really see is a few chips and the handle glued back on:
One of the kids at the harrison goodwill is the man. He's always asking what I'm looking for and saw that I bought the stein above, told me they got another one in and he had it behind the boutique area. Nothing super valuable or anything but it is still a nice piece.
Avon's Tall Ships Stein 1977 "A" pressing:

Got this Gargoyle today in Quincy:
Also got these records:
Saw a Sega Genesis controller in the box, but put it right down when they wanted 5 dollars for it. I've bought entire systems off them for 5 dollars.
Got this Hilltop Steakhouse ceramic stein in Brockton today. This is my second one, and I usually have a rule about getting doubles of things but these are just too awesome to pass up:

If you need money go get a job
I regret not getting this hollywood style clap-board thingy you see when a scene starts. It better be there when I get out tomorrow. rarrr! I could have so much fun with it.
anyways...
Got a few glasses:
Remember the Intel commercials with those hazmat suit guys dancing around and shit, well lemme tell ya, yours truly scored a key chain, ooh la la:

What is that thing?
Made my weekly pilgrimage into Roxbury.
Items not pictured:
and a few other glasses:
Probably one of the worst movies of all time; Super Mario Bros. on DVD:
I had a little time left over before work and went into the Quincy store as usual.
Got these still sealed political puppets; Ronald Reagan and Michael Dukakis :
and sometimes going to the goodwill pays off so immensely you just sit back and wonder how is it that you have all the luck. Look at this fucking creature! A co-worker swears its Star Wars related. I beg to differ. No way could something this cool be in any way, shape or form associated with anything as gay as Star Wars:
Items not pictured:
- This tube of rubber snakes, there is seriously like 25 of em in here. I am going to have a blast in work with them this week.
- Two awesome hardcovers: Tank Warfare and Warfare In The Seventeenth Century.
- Two tennis rackets for my roommates. Ask and you shall receive.

These are yard sale leftovers
Went to two places today.
Legos are expensive. I'm not a Lego nerd at all , but I do know when I find a steal of a buy. This Lego Bionicle Cannister was unopened and going for a $1.99. If i were to go in the store and get the same thing it would be $25. On principle I had to get it. Plus it will add to the randomness of my room.
I also got a Norwegian beer chalice. ( not pictured)
Off to Davis square, where I got a couple of neat records:
Morbid item of the day: I found a 1933 Worcester High School of Commerce Yearbook. Complete with envelope of obituaries of dead friends. Sadly this person must have died and had their stuff just donated off.
Item-I-Really-Don't-Need Item of the day: A 1950s Paymaster System. It'll take some searching but I bet I can find an ink roller for it.
I would have went to Central afterwards but I didn't feel like lugging the Paymaster with me.
