This is actually from Sunday, but because of a monstrous day of debauchery , this had to wait a few.

I've got to wake up a little earlier, I'm sick of battling people for things. Especially vinyl, so many collectors out there. I always get there around the same time as this other guy and he shoots through everything like a machine. Luckily I got there a few minutes ahead of him. Someone got rid of some nice hardcore recs:
(From Top): Varsity/Bloodpact split (stamped band names on each side 100 pressings), Ignite Call On My Brothers, 25 ta Life Strength Through Unity (10"), Over My Dead Body Rusty Medals and Broken Badges ( Still Sealed), Ignite Past Our Means, Earth Crisis The Oath That Keeps Me Free ( White Vinyl), Good Riddance A Comprehensive Guide To Modern Rebellion, Drowningman Still Loves You ( Still Sealed).

Come on people, no fighting at the goodwill
Tuesday, May 13, 2008
This isn't Roxbury honey
Yesterday I checked out the new Goodwill on Comm. Ave, and to say the least I was pretty disappointed. It certainly was the nicest looking thrift store I have ever seen, resembling some ritzy boutique. The music was geared for the college crowd, like the decor. It consists of mostly better used clothing, a lot more name brands, and everything organized meticulously except for the shitty electronics section. Music selection sucked, and there was only a handful of vinyl. The only reason I'd even think of going back would be to because it's next to an awesome used record store; In Your Ear.

In other Goodwill news, I watched as two women literally fought over an old rusty pan.

Yesterday while driving by I saw this and knew I had to get it. So I woke up at 8 am and made it there to be the first customer. A 1960 Schwinn Deluxe Tornado, needs a little work but I'm willing to put in the time:

A hand-crank flashlight:
Davis Square
---
Game Gear:
Nice pint:
Records, one on a Gen. Douglas MacArthur speech and Karate Kid I and II soundtracks:
Central Square

Turned away a Genesis in box because it just had the console, had an xbox for 50 dollars came with three games and all the hookups and three controllers but didn't feel like using my credit card 2 times in one day at the thrift store.

I wish I had the time to learn to play music. They had this awesome vintage electric organ for 50 dollars. I just don't see myself ( at least at this point in time) getting any use out of it.
Nice hoodie:
German beer drinking songs:
Vintage sunglasses, now all we need is some nice weather ( 40s in May!?) :

The second I walk in today I'm greeted by Norman who says, "I'm glad you came in today, I have a couple of carts and I know I saw some war books in there." So out he brought them and I had the pickings all to myself. It was understood I'd put a box or two of books on the shelves for him in gratitude.
(From Top): Atlas of the Second World War, At Dawn We Slept: The Untold Story of Pearl Harbor, Stalin, Battle of Britian, Inside Hitler's Greece, The United States Navy In World War II, Bodyguard of Lies, Outwitting the Gestapo, German Resistance Against Hitler:
