After seeing me lug around this horde of books, this man told me how is father fought in North Africa and Italy during WWII and this elderly woman talked about her husband; a 23 year old heavy bomber pilot who starting in 1943 was part of 30 raids and took part in bombing a key ball bearing factory in Schweinfurt twice in one mission. He used the heavy cloud cover to keep him stealthy during missions and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his efforts. Incredible story!
