Yesterday I saw a nice 25-inch tv in Quincy and obviously didn't think anything of it. When I got home I found out our living room tv kicked the bucket, so of course I go there today and its gone. Saw a great 20-inch for 35 dollars today in Davis but thats too small for our living room. I'm sure I'll come up with something soon.

I don't know what they are doing here but they keep changing this place around. This place used to be the book mecca, but they changed that months ago, and it also used to have tons of cds, but they just moved them downstairs and the racks were mostly empty. I hope this is just temporary. It still has the largest collection of vinyl anywhere and I did manage to pick up vol. 2 ( I already have vol. 1) of Gregorian Chant:

This place always seems to come through. If you looked in here you'd never think you would ever find anything.
Guinness glass:
Book on Pearl Harbor:
3 cd's; Smashing Pumpkins Gish, Tool Undertow, and Marilyn Manson Smells Like Children in the case for Portrait of an American Family:
Awesome record, awful condition ( the sleeve). Rolling Stones Hot Rocks 1964-1971:
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year is so trite, so good luck and god speed I guess.

My third "Spuds Mackenzie" glass, I already have the pilsner and the beer mug, now I can add the 1-liter glass stein to the mix:
T2: The Arcade Game for Genesis, surprisingly still in the box:
A funny incident of a woman trying to steal a $1.00 pair of pants put me in a good mood, how pathetic.

She likes rugs
After coming off a 17-hr shift, the last thing I'd probably want to do is go out on a Sunday afternoon....wrong! I'm a mess, so here it is:

What an odd item; a miniature bike fully functional. Says Zimbalast Smith on it:
Who would have known; busiest time of year and I'm getting out to Boston.
Harrison Ave.

For some ungodly reason, finding a parking spot here is like winning the lottery. I would have had a spot almost immediately if it wasn't for some ignorant asshole. I'm waiting for him to pull out of the spot with my blinker on while he sits in his running car and simultaneously eats a banana, talks on the phone, drinks water and jots things on paper, totally ignoring my beeping. Somehow, someway I get a spot.
I was psyched to find this record, Gustav Holst's The Planets is one of my favorites:

More vinyl. From left: Rolling Stones Out of Our Heads, Jimi Hendrix The Cry of Love, Jimi Hendrix Axis: Bold as Love (with the plastic still on the cover), and these two weird ones: Sound effects vol. 5 and vol. 2. Vol 5 consists of industrial and household sounds and vol. 2 contains sounds from animals/ insects/ birds:

Amazing ( well amazing to me at least) find today. See it looks like a duck:
But the top half comes off and it's really a phone! Behold: Duck Phone!!!:
Thats not even the best part. So I stop by work on my way back to see if it works ( and on a hunch hoping it quacks). Then the phone rang, its eyes glowed red and it began quacking! Sweet deal.
A nice pint glass:
And a Reutter Porzellan Heidelberg ashtray:

You have a brilliant mind
*** To the few people who actually read this: Because of the holiday rush at work, there has been little chance of me getting out. Fear not, for this will be updated on a regular basis again after x-mas, stay tuned for a few posts here and there until then. ***

With a little help from the manager, I got all 7 volumes of the Chronicles of Narnia out of the bin; sweet find. Plus George Orwell's Animal Farm:
These records; Pac-Man Fever, which is amazing. It came out in the early 80s and it mixes 80s rock with the classic arcade sound effects and cheesy lyrics about the games, in other words: AMAZING, songs about Frogger, Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, come on now. The other is Beethoven's Fifth Symphony mixed with different house beats:

Went to Quincy for a quick stop and got these records, the German folk and drinking song's record was still sealed ( listening to it now):
These instant hand warmers will come in handy when I'm walking around in freezing cold Boston this winter:
Pink Floyd's 2-disc Ummagumma missing the studio album (boo!):
