Savers (West Roxbury)
---
Although I came out with nothing, I have to at least give my account since it was my first time here. First off, bad timing. It's school vacation week and it was a mad house in there. Lots of annoying kids running around like there was no tomorrow. For a place this big it sure had alot of useless things to buy. I suppose people come here for the cheap clothes, but by thrift store standards they are pretty expensive, with mens clothes tagged anywhere from 6.99 to $15 +. Everything just seemed broken. Book section was awful, mostly romance. Plenty of cd's but nothing really worth buying, same for vinyl. If you like Mitch Miller or Burl Ives you'll cream your pants off. I planned on getting a 3rd gen Sega Genesis controller because it is the only version I don't have but I was hardly going to wait in an airport size line to get it.

What a contrast to Savers. This place is immaculately clean ( I think I've said that before) and organized. So quiet in there you could really take your time and relax. There was really nothing in there that caught my eye except for this book:
