So today I decided I was gonna head out to this so-called best thrift store in Mass. Boomerangs in JP. Well its not the biggest, its a little pricey, but it definitely is one of the best. Some of the best wares I've ever seen. Everything is so organized, and the place has lots of character too. Its a five star store no doubt. I'll have to hit it up at least once a month. Didn't get anything spectacular there, got a couple of cd racks ( no picture). Got a beat up and ugly steamer trunk, it'll do its job of freeing up some space in my room:
I also got a few glasses, I especially like the old-school Harp Pint:
I did look at a few German steins in their boutique area but they were too rich for my blood, and too ordinary to warrant more than 10 dollars.
I actually went to Harrison ave before I went to boomerangs. Ahh the goodwill, where the service usually sucks, the place a total disorganized mess, the prices inconsistent, and the merchandise not even guaranteed to work. OK ok enough ranting.
Got another Dreamcast VMU:
Got Pink Floyd's The Wall 2-disc CD, missing the 2nd disc. BOO!
and a couple of Budweiser ( yuck) glasses:
Tomorrow I'm on a search for a comfortable pair of shorts for work. And a decision to go back to Harrison ave and get that 200 dollar Williams & Sonoma bread maker I foolishly didn't get. Would've gave it to my mom.
